GOD IS RIGHTEOUS Ė HE HAS A RIGHTEOUS PLAN

God is righteous. He always does what is right because He is righteous. He loves to do what is right because He is righteous. He loves to see right things done by His created beings--spirits and humans--because He is righteous. He rewards every right thing that is done, because He is a righteous judge and ruler. He is a rewarder of those who seek Him and His ways. Every wrongful act will be punished. God is righteous.

God has a plan for His creation. His plan is to fill the heavens and the earth with His ways and His desires. God lives in heaven, a place of righteousness. Only righteous things are done in heaven because all who live there receive and do Godís will. Godís righteousness fills heaven, and He has a plan to fill the earth with His heavenly righteousness as well. He has brought forth a plan to remove the unrighteous ways from the hearts of men and to put them on another man. He would then punish the unrighteous ways of men by punishing the man on whom He has put all unrighteousness. Jesus was the man God chose for this purpose. Jesus became sin for us. He died for us and now reigns over the world for us.

Through Jesus, the righteous ways and presence of God can be brought to the hearts of people and then into the all of the world. People can be filled with Godís righteousness and seek and love His ways. Through Jesus, the spirits of evil who now rule over people, lands, and nations will be removed from the places of authority man has given to them. Through Jesus, Godís people are being trained and equipped to rule in the heavens with Christ. Through Jesus, all evil will be removed from the heavens and from the earth. Through Jesus, heaven, where God dwells, and the heavens and the earth will be united. This is Godís desire for His creation. Our righteous God has a righteous plan which will bring about the reign of His righteousness in all the heavens and the earth.

David said, For the LORD is righteous; He loves righteousness; the upright will behold His face. (Psalm 11:7 NAS) Elihu said, I will ascribe righteousness to my Maker. (Job 36:3 NKJ)

Father, we confess that You are righteous. We rejoice in the righteous plan You are bringing forth through Jesus. We rejoice that the heavens and the earth will be filled with Your righteousness. We rejoice that even today You establish Your righteous ways in us through Jesus living in us and making us a temple for You to dwell in. Glory be to You, O God, now and forever! Amen.

God is Righteous Ė His Name is Righteous Ė He is our Righteousness

"In those days Judah will be saved, and Jerusalem will dwell safely. And this is the name by which she will be called: THE LORD [YAHWEH or JEHOVAH] OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.  (Jeremiah 33:16 NKJ)

Because God is righteous, He always does what is right. He loves to do what is right and loves to see His created beings--spirits and humans--doing right things. He rewards every right thing that is done, because He is a righteous judge and ruler. He is a rewarder of those who seek Him and His ways. Every wrongful act will be punished. God is righteous.

One of the ways God has chosen to reveal Himself to us is through His names. God told Moses that His name was "Yahweh" or "Jehovah" (Exodus 6:3). ("Yahweh" is the Hebrew word; "Jehovah" is the English translation of "Yahweh") In the verse in Jeremiah quoted above, God says His name is "Jehovah-tsidqeenuw." The English translation of this word is "Jehovah (Yahweh) is our righteousness."

God not only is righteous in Himself, He also wants us to know that He is righteous for us. He wants us to know that He is not only righteous for us but that He will be our righteousness. Through His life in us, we can become righteous. Through believing in the plan of His Son, Who died for us to live in us, we can be accounted as righteous. Through His Son living in us, we can become partakers of the righteous nature of God and do righteous things. We can be righteous. He promises this for us, for the people of Judah, and for those who dwell in Jerusalem.

We are living in times when Godís righteous ways need to be manifest in Jerusalem so that there can be lasting peace in that place. We are living in times when the people of Judah need to know that God is their righteousness and that His righteousness in their enemies is their only hope for lasting peace with them. God has promised to bring this about. His way of bringing His righteousness into the people of Jerusalem and into the Jewish people is through the righteousness of His Son. What is happening in the world, especially in Israel, is but a revelation of our need to know God as Yahweh, a personal Father for His people, and to know Him as our righteousness. We need to know Him as the only hope for the world to live in righteousness. God has promised to do this.

Father, we confess You are righteous. We confess that You are bringing us, and those who will receive Your ways through Jesus, into knowing You as Our Righteousness. We thank You for revealing Yourself to us in this way, and we pray that the whole world will know You as the One True God through whom they can live in peace. We thank You that You will do this through Your Son Jesus Christ, and we pray in His name. Amen.

God is Righteous Ė Seek First His Kingdom and His Righteousness;
then you will prosper

"But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. (Mathew 6:33 NKJ)

God wants to bless His creation so that all of it can prosper. He has a plan to affect all of creation with His life. His way is for humans to have Godís life within them so that they can know and do Godís will and prosper in all they do. His plan is that people, filled with the life and nature of God, can manifest that life to others, and then they too can experience the blessings and prosperity of having Godís life in them.

Jesus came to bring Godís life into humanity. He, as a human being, had the life and the righteousness of God in Him. He also knew that there was a spiritual kingdom opposed to the ways, nature, and character of God. He knew the world was under the influence and dominion of this kingdom of evil spiritual beings led by Satan. That is why He not only encouraged people to have Godís life in them--so they could do what was right and good--but also to seek Godís rule and reign to be established in them and in all the natural and the spiritual world. He knew Godís eternal plan to fill the heavens and earth with His life, nature, and will. He knew God created the world so that through Him heaven and earth could be eternally united.

Jesus taught us to pray for the kingdom reign and righteous ways of His Father to come onto the earth. "Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven," were the words He taught His disciples to pray (Matthew 5:10). As we seek the reign and the righteousness of God to be established in us, and then through us, and then into the heavenly places, and then throughout heaven and earth, we will prosper. This is Godís eternal will and desire for His creation.

Father, thank You for Your desire to establish Your kingdom and Your righteousness in us and in all of heaven and earth. Help us to seek this daily and to participate in Your plan to bring this about. In Jesusí name we pray. Amen.

GOD IS RIGHTEOUS Ė HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS IN US
IS OUR PLACE OF PEACE

"In righteousness you shall be established; you shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; and from terror, for it shall not come near you. Indeed they shall surely assemble, but not because of Me. Whoever assembles against you shall fall for your sake." (Isaiah 54:14-15 NKJ)

Because God is righteous, He always does what is right. He loves to do what is right and loves to see His created beings--spirits and humans--doing right things. He rewards every right thing that is done, because He is a righteous judge and ruler. He rewards those who seek Him and His ways, and He punishes every wrongful act. God is righteous.

God brings His righteousness into those who seek Him and His righteousness. He surrounds those who diligently seek Him with His righteousness. As we learn to live, continually receiving His life and His righteousness, we can have victory in this life. The Bible says, "Öthose who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ" (Romans 5:17 NKJ).

As I learn to live in His life and righteousness, He will establish this in me. He will establish me in His righteousness and He will establish His righteousness in me. HE WILL DO THIS. This is the promise of the New Covenant (Luke 1:74-75). When I become established in righteousness, God says, "Öyou shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; and from terror, for it shall not come near you. Indeed they shall surely assemble, but not because of Me. Whoever assembles against you shall fall for your sake." (Isaiah 54:14-15 NKJ)

God is willing to do this for us in these days. Terror is increasing in the world. The enemies of Christianity are assembling together seeking to put down Christians, to limit their influence in society, and even to persecute and kill them. But God says, "Whoever assembles against you shall fall for your sake." (Isaiah 54:15 NKJ) Let us heed His call to live in His kingdom and in His righteousness. His Spirit is being poured out in ever-increasing ways to enable and encourage us to do this. All glory be to God!

Father, we rejoice in Your Holiness and Your Righteousness. You are worthy of all honor and glory. Help us to live in Your life and to dwell in Your Righteousness. Thank You for Your promise to do this for us. In Jesusí name we pray. Amen.

GOD IS RIGHTEOUS Ė HE HAS AN INHERITANCE
FOR HIS SERVANTS

No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is from Me,í says the LORD. " (Isaiah 54:14-17)

Because God is righteous, He always does what is right. He loves to do what is right and loves to see His created beings--spirits and humans--doing right things. He rewards every right thing that is done, because He is a righteous judge and ruler. He rewards those who seek Him and His ways, and He punishes every wrongful act. God will remove evil from His people, from the heavenly places and from all the world. God is righteous.

God is righteous; His desire and ability to do what is right is infinitely greater than ours. God is Holy. His ways are vastly superior to ours. His wisdom and power are infinitely greater than ours. God has a plan to bring His life and nature into His people and then into the world. His plan is infinitely above anything we could devise or imagine. He invites us to enter His plan. He invites us to let Him bring revelation of His plan into us day by day, in this age and in the ages to come. He has redeemed us. He has purchased us by having Jesus die for us. Satan no longer has any claim or rightful ability to keep us in bondage to him and away from the blessings and purposes of God. We can now serve God and receive His inheritance that He has for His servants.

Jesus did this; He served God. Now God has given Him the nations as His inheritance (Psalm 2:8). God gives us a part of Jesusí inheritance as His servants. Jesus promises that we who overcome will reign with Him over the nations. This is part of our eternal destiny Ė our inheritance. God promises to give us victory over all our enemies IN THIS LIFE so we can prosper in His kingdom and live in our inheritance. This is His promise to His righteous servants. "ĎNo weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is from Me,í says the LORD" (Isaiah 54:14-17 NKJ). Our task is to stand against and speak against the lies of Satan and to receive the righteousness of God from God through Jesus. What a great privilege it is to serve Him!

Father, thank You that You have purchased us from the prison of Satan. Help us to receive all of the righteousness You have for us, so we can serve You so Jesus is glorified. Amen.
