Joy to the world the Lord
Joy to the world the Lord is come
We can rejoice in the season as we remember that THE LORD is come. Jesus, born of a virgin, in a lowly stable, has come, He is coming, and He will come again. He is the One who was to come, according to the prophets of the Bible. He is the One who came, according to the writers of the New Testament and the countless testimonies of others, past and present. He is the One who is coming. He is coming forth in ever greater ways, deeper into the hearts of His people, and ever more present in our society through His people. As we see life through the eyes of the Holy Spirit, we can know the reality of His ever-increasing presence among us. We can know the reality of Isaiah's word, "Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this" (Isaiah 9:6-7 NKJ). Jesus has come, He is coming forth, and He will come again. He is not just one among many rulers or gods--HE IS LORD OF ALL TODAY! Let us rejoice!
Father, we rejoice that You sent Your Son to be our Savior and Lord. We rejoice in Your commitment to bring all things under His feet. We rejoice in His ever-increasing presence with us and in us. Help us to receive more of Your grace and empowerment through His life each day so that the world may know and rejoice with us in the truth that THE LORD IS COME. Amen.

Joy to the world the Lord
Let earth receive her king
We can rejoice that THE LORD is come. We can rejoice that we can participate with God our Father in His a plan to make known the reality of the truth that Jesus, born as a child in Bethlehem 2000 years ago, is now Lord and Christ. We can manifest the reality of the Lordship of Jesus as we live for Him and let Him live in and through us. We can show others the joy of letting Christ rule in people. We can show others the Divine life as this life changes us and imparts into us the full and manifest presence of the life of Jesus. We can pray that others will see the life of Jesus coming forth from us, through acts of love, forgiveness, supernatural wisdom and peace. We can pray that the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the magnificent glory of God in the face of Christ Jesus by our words, smiles, and acts that are Divinely inspired by Him. We can be filled with the zeal of God that the entire earth be filled with the glory of the truth that the Eternal King of kings has come and is ever-present in the earth in these days. Let us rejoice and pray that all the earth will receive her king.
Father, we rejoice that You have exalted Jesus and made Him King of kings and Lord of Lords. We rejoice that You are increasing the reality of His presence in us so that the world might know the truth of Your love and eternal plan to fill heaven and earth with Your presence and glory. Help us to live and to pray so that all the earth might receive her King. Amen

Joy to the world the Lord
Let every heart prepare Him room
We who have joy because we know the One who came at Christmas, can have our joy increased as we desire and pray that every person's heart will give Him a place so that they too will know the joy of His abiding presence in them. In His mercy and love, God not only gives us the opportunity to know the joy of being filled with and becoming united with His Divine nature and character, He lets us be involved with Him as He gives the ability for others to be to be so blessed. The Bible says that Jesus was able to endure the tremendous suffering He experienced at Calvary because He saw the joy set before Him. He was cognizant of the rewards He would have being restored to His heavenly glory and once again living in the reality of the presence of His Father. He had this position before He came to the earth. However He also knew that through what He would endure at Calvary, He would be able to lead many people into the reality of living in the presence of His Father, while they are on earth and even in a greater measure when they would have their resurrected bodies. We too can experience the joy of seeing others come into and live in the heavenly kingdom as we pray and declare, "Let every heart prepare Him room." We too can know His joy in living for others and letting God use us to bring them into the fullness of the eternal calling and assignments God gave to them before the foundations of the earth. Let us rejoice and pray that every heart will prepare Him a place.
Father, we rejoice that in Your great love for us You bring about Your eternal plans and purposes into us through Jesus. We rejoice that You enable us to be participants and witnesses of Your great love and grace that You extend to all. Help us to live in seeking and praying that every heart will prepare Him room. Amen.

And [let] heaven and nature sing
Our God is joyful. The Bible says He rejoices over us with singing. We bring joy to Him as we, by faith, follow Him, listen to Him, receive His life, let His life unite our inner being with Him, and release His life into the world by our words, actions, prayers, and songs of worship. Our inner desires become united with His desires and we cry out together for heaven and earth to rejoice in Him and in all that we see Him doing. We can be united with the songs of heaven. The living creatures before the throne of God, who are always cognizant of what they see Him doing, cry out day and night, "Holy, Holy, Holy!" They see the continual revelation of the greatness of the nature and character of God, as they are able to look upon Him in His majestic splendor. Yet even these angelic beings are able to look upon Him only momentarily as the brilliance and awesomeness of His majesty requires that they cover themselves because they cannot bear to look on Him continually. It is like us when we look into the brightness of the sun--our eyes cannot gaze on the light of this created object. The angels know that through Christ we can come in spirit into the Presence of this great and holy God. They rejoice and cry out, "Holy, Holy, Holy" as they see God's magnificent love and mercy being extended to and manifested in us, the ones designed and created to manifest God's glory and love into this world. Let us rejoice and sing with the angels, "Holy, Holy, Holy" is our God--in who He is and in what He does. Let us declare, "Let heaven and nature sing!"
Father, we confess that You are truly Holy. There is no being that can approach Your light, Your purity, Your splendor, Your awesomeness, Your transcendent beauty. We rejoice that You dwell in a place called heaven, where Your great majesty is revealed and worshipped. We rejoice that You sent Your Son from that place into this world we that we could be freed from the ways of this world and dwell in Him in the awesomeness of Your Being as He did and does. Help us to cry and declare with the angels, "Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God Almighty!" Amen.

And [let] heaven and nature sing
God promises that He will do a work in the heavens and in the earth so that the heavens and the earth will be filled with His glory. He promises to shake the heavens and the earth so that all that continually rebels against His plan and purposes will be removed. He promises to do a work in us so that we become filled with and subject to the leadings of His Holy Spirit. As this happens, we will no longer be subject to the ways of our fallen nature, but will be made complete in Him, accomplishing all that He prepared for us before He created all things through Jesus. The atmosphere of the earth will change as God effects His purposes through us. We will become people united with Him and filled with His Divine life, love and actions. The Bible says, "...the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God" (Romans 8:21 NKJ). The Bible says the trees of the field will clap their hands and rejoice when they see the deliverance God will give His people, providing a new atmosphere for them (Isaiah 55:12; Ezekiel 34:27). We who are participants in God's eternal plan for us and all of His creation can rejoice. Through the Child of Bethlehem all will be accomplished. Let us rejoice, unite with the whole body of Christ and the angels, and sing and say, "Joy to the world, the Lord is come, let heaven and nature sing!"
Father, we rejoice in You and in Your plan of salvation for us, for the whole body of Christ, for those who will yet come into Christ, and for all of Your creation. We need great measures of Your eternal mercy and grace for us to begin to know and live in all You have ordained for us to be and do in Christ. Help us to receive, become, and release the greatness of Your being in the measure You have for each one of us. Amen.
